Notes

Storing Instructions:
  • Simply place in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven for a couple of minutes.
  • You can also freeze leftovers too! Place them also in an airtight container and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature and heat as indicated above.
Tips:
    • Layer the ingredients correctly. To ensure this is a moist and delicious cobbler recipe, be sure to layer the ingredients correctly. One can of peaches is stirred into the cake mix and the other on top of everything.
    • Shield with foil. When baking, if the cake is getting too dark in color, simply place a piece of foil loosely over the cobbler to prevent it from burning.
    • Use fresh or frozen peaches instead of canned. If using frozen peaches, thaw them and use all the juices. If using fresh, make sure they are overripe. Add ½ cup apple juice to the mixture to moisten.
    • Try with other canned fruit! You can make this with other canned fruits as well, pears, cherries, and apricots would all be delicious.
